About Kit Peterson

I’ve been incredibly lucky to live in beautiful Santa Barbara for over 30 years. My love and extensive knowledge of the area, together with a total commitment to my clients, has culminated in receiving Berkshire Hathaway’s Top Sales Agent in Santa Barbara distinction for 2021 and achieving the company’s highest recognition level of “Chairman’s Circle Diamond” —the top 1⁄2 of 1% of more than 50,000 agents worldwide. My career track began in multi-channel marketing, web design, e-commerce and business management. As a side hobby I bought, sold, built and remodeled homes in Santa Barbara. Ultimately, being in and around real estate proved to be my true passion. Together with my husband Eric, a Santa Barbara native and former County Fire Chief, we have 15-year-old twins. Raising children in this community has given me a deeper understanding of our local school districts and has broadened my knowledge of the many unique characteristics of individual neighborhoods. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me at the beach either playing volleyball with friends, body surfing with my kids, walking our dogs, or out in the channel boating with my husband.
